It's a
family business
Our personnel are the main factor behind our success and are, indeed, more co-entrepreneurs than employees. A good working atmosphere and appropriate remuneration are important, both for the well-being of our employees and ensuring our high quality aspirations and standards. About one third of our permanent staff has been with our company for over 10 years – a number that clearly reflects a high “feel-good factor”.
Each of our employees lives and breathes our philosophy. Together, we believe in sustainable forestry, sustainable fisheries and environmental conservation through CO2-friendly production.
We purchase composite material for our menu tray packaging exclusively from upstream suppliers who procure wood from certified FSC sources that conform to FSC certification. The fish we use is obtained exclusively from fisheries certified by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) and Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) for sustainable fisheries. We only use green electricity generated through hydropower. This is a CO2-neutral process.
Our production facility is certified to the IFS 7 higher level, thus ensuring the highest quality standard.
We only use fish from MSC and ASC-certified fisheries.
Our complete production operates on green electricity supplied through cooperation with public utility companies in Heidelberg.
Long-term cooperation in a spirit of trust is part of our philosophy and promotes our quality aspirations.
Nothing is left up to chance in the state-of-the-art Prima Menü production facility. We work to the strictest hygiene standards and in compliance with a certified quality management system.
Prima Menü undergoes strict IFS (International Food Standards) quality and safety audits every year. Our menus are tasted every day in our own facility.
We are also inspected regularly by the food safety authority. This enables us to address the high safety expectations of our customers in a tangible and convincing manner.
